It is the empirical formula called patience. It is the key to successful stock market investment. Without it even one has the sharpest mind of great stock pick will not yield desirable and consistent results.

I have read countless great textbooks, technical and non-technical, throughout my investing life and in the end, I came to realise that the very one thing that many people lack of in stock investment is patience. It took me years to understand and appreciate this. That is why i always stressed one must have patience, persevere, trust and conviction in stock investment. Yes. Each of this word is about human behaviour. Master it and only then talk about fundamental analysis, technical analysis, stock pick and timing. Case in point, how many would have patiently hold on to Presbhd long enough to achieve extreme profit from it ? It doesn't matter if you have held onto a stock for very long time despite making less paper profit, but the patience that you have developed subconsciously within you to keep that stock is already a good start.

By the way, the worst enemy of patience is distraction. Think about it.

Good luck.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10315981272239650553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-161242904088465124.post-38253851207843178872015-03-26T02:09:18.583+08:002015-03-26T02:09:18.583+08:00Could not agree more with you. I am still trying and looking forward for a permanent change of habits... Believing more in stock INVESTMENT rather than trading... My only issue is to learn and understand the criteria of stocks suitable for my INVESTMENT. Appreciate if you could further coach your readers on the techniques and the criteria to look at in identifying the suitable stock to invest in from the pool of available stocks in the Malaysian stock market... Why I am asking this!!!!! Well, I have also had the experience of being tricked into buying some stocks in KLSE believed to be the jewel in the ocean and fit to be called one initially but out of the blue turned out to be the spoiler of my heart with repetitive poor performances and fail ventures... This is just to show that there is more I need to learn from you in order to improve my stock picking skills for my INVESTMENT... Hope you don't mind sharing them withbyour readers.. Thanks..manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02453002184590084610noreply@blogger.com
